Planned Giving

Plan Your Gift

Prospective donors are encouraged to meet with a legacy coordinator or church staff when contemplating their estate plan so that the church understands the donor's goals and presents opportunities to set them in motion through our church.

In addition to a legacy plan, the donor's faith story is an invaluable part of the planned gift. A legacy coordinator will also help collect this story, or a donor is encouraged to share through the form under "Tell Us" button on the planned giving home page.

General Legacy Gifts

… are the most flexible for current and future generations. These gifts give our current Session and future leaders flexibility and opportunity to adapt to future opportunities and circumstances that we might not foresee today.

Designated Gifts

… are welcome from those who have a passion around a certain area of ministry that they want to continue even after their lifetime. These five ministry areas would especially benefit from additional resources:

  1. Building and Property
  2. Christian Education
  3. Mission
  4. Music
  5. Staff Support and Development

Legacy gifts are invested while Session and the appropriate ministry prayerfully discern the most impactful way to deploy either the capital or endowment proceeds to advance DCC's mission of social justice, care for creation, and deeper discipleship.
